A little history. A lot of Aloha.
Some shirts are more than something to wear. A distinctive print, a familiar label, or the feel of a well-loved fabric can bring a place or a moment back to life. That is what draws us to vintage.
HiloBay Vintage began in January 2013 in Hilo, Hawaii. Our island roots continue to shape our collection: Hawaiian and Aloha clothing chosen for its maker, fabric, condition, and individual style.
The pleasure of the find
We look for pieces at estate sales, auctions, thrift stores, and other secondhand sources. Sometimes it is a bold island scene that catches our eye. Sometimes it is a subtle pattern, an interesting fabric, or a label worth a closer look.
Our collection brings those discoveries together so you can find something with character—whether you collect Hawaiian shirts or simply want a piece you will enjoy wearing.

Shop with confidence
Great style starts with the right fit.
Vintage label sizes can differ from modern sizing. Compare garment measurements with a similar shirt that fits you comfortably. Keep the shirt flat and measure without stretching.
Chest width
Measure straight across from armpit to armpit. Double this flat measurement for an approximate garment chest circumference.
Body length
Measure from the high shoulder point beside the collar to the bottom hem. Compare with the method stated in the listing.

Can I return an item?
Request a return by email within 30 days of delivery. Returns need approval, and approved items must be mailed within 7 days. Items must be in the same condition received. For fit or change-of-mind returns, you pay return shipping and original shipping is not refundable. Clearly marked final-sale items have different terms.
How should I care for vintage clothing?
Follow the garment’s care label when present. Fabrics, dyes, and construction vary, so avoid assuming that every piece can be machine washed. When the label is missing or the fabric is delicate, ask a professional cleaner for guidance.
